Well, the highly anticipated Air Max Day 2018 has come and gone, and I have to admit that I’m a little sad (actually, a lot sad…like full-blown depressed) because I wasn’t able to score a pair of the 1/97 SW that I have LITERALLY been waiting a whole year for, ever since the Sneakeasy event last March for Air Max Day 2017. That’s where I first saw and fell in love with Sean‘s sneaker design. Several months after that event, I stopped by his store on Melrose, Round Two Hollywood, and yes… I was that annoying fangirl who harassed him for a photo while he was busy working. But he was kind enough to amuse me and I told him about how much I loved his design and how I voted for him over and over again and how I couldn’t wait for his shoe to be released. He assured me that it would be available in GS and that many pairs would be produced which got me even more excited. Needless to say, 3/26/18 was a sad, disappointing day for me.
Fortunately though, there were other new AM styles that were released this year that caught my eye, specifically the Air Max 270. I’m obsessed with the 32-mm air bubble; baby got back! This is my new favorite silhouette at the moment, and here are my three favorite colorways:
“Dust Cactus” – Part of the “OG Pack”
“Ultramarine” – also part of the “OG Pack”
Can we talk about this pullover for a second?

Those who know me know that I stay forever loyal to Nike; the hype that they have been carrying this year has been beyond, and it’s only March! Can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeves for the rest of the year. But for now, let me go see what other colorways I can cop in these 270’s.
